Menja’m is the second installment of the editorial “La Historia of Salvatge – Quaderns of Photography”. This time I worked with six chefs from different backgrounds living in the Valencian Country: Kristian Lutaud – Lyon, H. Bernd Knoller – the Black Forest, Steve Anderson – London, Abdo Mushen – Palestine/Benissa, Ricard Camarena – Gandia / Valencia, Quique Dacosta – Extremadura / Dénia.
Each chef presented a plate and a written text in their native language. There are photographs with model expressly for this work related to food as well as a series of images from my personal work that also have to do with food.
This artist’s book has won the Special Jury Prize in the edition of 2014 Gourmand Cook Books in Beijing – China
Dimensions: Closed: 19×26 cms. Binding: I Hand sewn hardcover with a blow dry and acrylic ink stamp.
It is an edition of artist, printed with pigment inks on 100% cotton paper, made by hand with two artist’s proofs and numbered edition of 25 copies.
The logo design and graphics have been made by Puri Mollà Revert.
The main text is written by Ximo Urenya i Montes, and the rest of the texts are written by each of the authors.
